There are many texts readily available on the positive impacts of professional learning communities in education. I have had the pleasure of reading Hargreaves, Fullan, Dufour, Senge, and many others work about professional learning communities and educational change. The themes continue to resonate with me. Every day I strive to plan, monitor, question, reflect, and celebrate elements of educational leadership in an effort for continuous improvement.
I believe an educational leader must be committed to professional learning communities where all members contribute to the learning organization. Integral to the learning environment is the intentionality of mindfulness. If we layered some of the thinking from Evocative Coaching, Mentoring Matters and/or Cognitive Coaching, how might this impact a PLC?
